Complete marketing launch for an innovative outdoor cooler accessory developed by Kaspar Companies (Shiner, TX). I was the sole copywriter on the project — responsible for brand positioning, product naming, product descriptions, origin story, About Us page, email campaigns, and social media content. The work required translating a brand-new product category into language that outdoor enthusiasts would immediately understand and want — from the shelf-level product copy to the brand story behind it.

Cooler Rest was born out of necessity. And it all started with an intriguing tale.
Once upon a time a fisherman boarded his boat, off to enjoy the offerings of a salty Texas coast. A prime spot and perfect conditions, the only thing better would be a seat to support his position. His instincts were right, using his favorite cooler as a seat. After all, it also harbored all the fish he would eat.
By the end of the day his catch proved a winner! But then — holy humpback hit and his tired old back could no longer deliver.
And Cooler Rest was born. Now that's happily ever after.
The Cooler Rest has been spotted from coast to coast and kick back to kick back providing chill spots to sit on back porches, tailgates, fishing boats, swimming docks, hunting grounds, picnics in the park, and many, way too many, backyards.
We want you to enjoy what you do outdoors with little fuss and even less effort, all from the comfort of your cooler. See ya outside.

Q: Now how do I hook this sucker up? A: Insert the backrest into the slots on each side of your cooler and well, take a seat.
Q: What if I need to open the cooler? A: Stand up. Turn around. Open your cooler like you always do. Just don’t forget to shut the lid before you sit back down.
Q: I know I just attached the dang Cooler Rest but I need to remove it. Don’t ask why. A: We had a feeling this would happen so we built Cooler Rest to easily detach and re-attach to your little heart’s content. No questions asked, although we do like funny stories if ya feel like sharing.
Q: I’m a rather imposing figure, not to brag. How sturdy is this thing? A: Our Cooler Rest is built to last with a durable powder-coated metal frame. Imposing figures welcome.
